YENÝDOÐANIN BESLENME ÝZLEMÝNDE SERUM ALBUMÝN - PREALBUMÝN DEÐERLERÝ VE ANTROPOMETRÝK ÖLÇÜMLERÝN YERÝ

Yeni doðan bebek beslenmesinin izleminde, ilk günlerde kullanýlabilecek fizik muayene veya laboratuar yöntemleri konusunda çeliþkiler yaþanmaktadýr. Bu nedenle Kartal Devlet Hastanesi Çocuk Kliniðinde izlenen 52 yenidoðan bebeðin beslenmesinde antropometrik ölçümler ve serum albumin-prealbumin deðerlerinden hangilerinin daha yararlý bir gösterge olduðu araþtýrýldý.Ýlk 20 günde, saðlýklý bebeklerde prealbumin izleminin en iyi gösterge olduðu sonucuna varýldý.

THE VALUES OF SERUM ALBUMIN-PREALBUMIN LEVELS AND ANTROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS IN THE FOLLOW-UP OF THE NEWBORN INFANT'S NUTRITIONAL STATUS

For the follow-up of the newborn infant's nutritional status, there is controversy about the physical examination and laboratory methods that can be used during the first days of life. For this reason, antropometric measurements and serum albumin-prealbumin levels were evaluated in 52 newborn infants that were being followed in the Pediatric Clinic of Kartal Hospital in order to determine which of them was more valuable. Prealbumin was found to be the best marker among healthy babies during the first 20 days.
