| 1. | Locau Recurrence Of Hepatobiliary Mucinous Cystadenoma Nagehan Özdemir Barışık, Aylin Ege Gül, Necmi Kurt, Nilüfer Onak Kandemir, Dilek Yavuzer, Nimet Karadayı Pages 828 - 830 Hepatobiliary mucinous eystadenomas are eystic rarely seen tumors originating from liver parenehitna and biliary ductal epitelial tissuc. it ttıay occur at ali ages but it is more common in eldcr ıvomen. Ets therapy ineludes total excisiorı or partial excisîon and drainage. İn ourcase the preoperative diagnosis was hydatid eyst of the liver. The treatment ineluded eysteetomy, drainage and omentopexy, but after histopathologic evamination its diagnosed as hepatobiliary mucinous eystadenoma. Because of the loca] recurrence after 1,5 year, nonanatomic resection was carricd aut. Follomng the surgery she has no complaint. |

The surgieal tcchniqucs uscd for osteoma can be varicd according to the localization. the size and thc mucosal status of the affected sinüs. Here wc presented a case who admitted to our elinic with exopthalmus, rctroorbital pain and dccrcascd vision. On his computerized tomography semi (CT) a mass vvas scen that is originated from riglıt frontal sinüs. İt vvas eıtending to optic foramen and extraocular museles and conıpressing thc optic nerve. The lesion was removed through an osteoplastic flap and the defect on the posterior wall of thc frontal sinüs and the superior wall of the orbita formed by the lesion. was elosed by faseia lata graft and obliterated by adipose tissue. Thc rcsult of thc microscopic cxamination of the specimen was reporled as osteoma. Bccause of thc u ıu-\ ııı-ı ı.ılık size of the mass and thc usagc of a different type of greft in the surgery, this case is decided to be presented in this artkle. |

These patients had congenital ptosîs and vveak levator muscle funetions for «lıich t hey required frontal suspeıısion. These flaps were sutured to the frontalis muscle through the tunnels constructed vt'İtbin the eyelid. A sufficienl funetion of suspeıısion was achieved so that eye lid ma able to be opencd by thc help of non-innervated muscle flaps. A shortening in the vertical axis of eyelid was achieved through a transversely evcised skin island. Supratarsal fold was formed by İnvertîng the flap donor arcas. VVc achieved acceptabk levels of corrcction in thc patients »iıh weak levator muscle funetions. |

| 8. | Autoimmune polyglanduler syndrome cases in childhood period (Type I & Type III form) Müferet Ergüven, Kadir Babaoğlu, Yasemin Katıöz, Neslihan Sağlam, Yasemin User, Pınar İşgüven, Sevil Özçay Pages 849 - 851 Type I autoimmune polyglandular syndrome (APS) is characterized by autoimmune hypoparathyroidism, mucocutaneous candidiasis and Addison's disease. The occurence of Insuline Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (JDDM) in that syndrome is very rare. We reported two cases of APS. The lirst case was type i APS with mucocutaneous candidiasis, hypoparathroidism and thyroid antiperoxidase antibody was detected in that patient. In addition to this; because of autoreactive islet cell (ICA) antibody level was more than 24 DFU nicotinamid was administrated for prophylaxis ofIDDM. Type ın APS is characterized by autoimmune tyhroid disease and insuline-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) without Addison's disease. Systemic Lupus Erytematosus (SLE) is a rare component of APS cases. The second case was type III APS with ITP, Class 5 membranous nephritis, Libman Sachs endocarditis, perikarditis, autoimmune thyroiditis and lDDM. |
