Renal angiomyolipoma causing massive retroperitoneal hemorrhage: A case report

In the present study, a patient with renal angiomyolipoma causing massive retroperitoneal hemorrhage is presented and reviewed in light of the current literature. We suggest that angiographic embolization may be the first choice in hemorrhagic renal angiomyolipoma to control bleeding and facilitate the surgical operation.

Bu yazýda, yaygýn retroperitoneal hemorajiye neden olan bir renal anjiyomiyolipom olgusu sunuldu ve güncel literatür gözden geçirildi. Anjiyografik embolizasyonu, kanamanýn kontrolü ve cerrahi iþlemi kolaylaþtýrmasý bakýmýndan retroperitoneal hemorajili anjiyomiyolipom olgularýnda ilk tercih olarak kullanýlabileceðini düþünmekteyiz.
