CLINICAL EVALUATION OF 154 CASES WITH GESTATIONAL TROPHOBLASTIC DISEASE

During the 5-year period from 1987 through 1991, 154 women whose pregnancies were complicated by gestational trophoblastic disease were managed at Zeynep Kamil Maternity Hospital. The incidence of gestational trophoblastic disease was determined as 1/676 pregnancy. The cases have been evaluated according to age and blood groups, geographical regions and parity and number of abortions. We also studied the cases with respect to frequency of sings and symptoms and their initial diagnosis at admission. It seems likely that sonogaphy and the determination of beta-HCG level, enhances the chance of early diagnosis.

GESTASYONEL TROFOBLASTİK HASTALIKLAR: 154 OLGU ANALİZİ

1987-Î991 yıllan arasındaki 5 yıllık sürede, Zeynep Kamil Hastanesinde 154 gestasyonel trofoblastik hastalık vakası takip ve tedavi edilmiştir. Gestasyonel trofoblastik hastalıkların hastanemizde insidansı 1/676 gebelik olarak saptanmıştır. Vakalar, yıllara, yaş ve kan gruplarına, coğrafi bölgelere, pariteye ve abortus sayısına göre değerlendirilmiş, hastaneye kabullerinde aldığı ön tanı, semptom ve bulguların görülme sıklığı yönünden incelenmiştir. Ultrason ve B-HCG tayininin, erken tanıda doğruluk ihtimalini ileri derecede arttırdığı gözlenmiştir.
